Meet the team / Jules McLean
I have been teaching for over 30 years. I began by teaching English as a second/foreign language, before moving into primary teaching, followed by a focus on special needs.
I have a wide range of experience, both in the UK and overseas. I have held positions overseas in language schools, universities and state schools. In the UK I have worked in primary, secondary schools and special schools.
I have a personal relationship with autism, since my teenage daughter is on the spectrum. I am particularly interested in the presentation and support available to girls with autism and in how to develop ways of managing the co-morbid mental health difficulties of autistic young people.
Qualifications: BA Hons Degree Modern Languages, PGCE (Primary), M.Ed TESOL, Post Graduate Diploma in Autism.
