Meet the team / Joanna Burden

I have 20 years’ experience as an autism specialist teacher. Prior experience includes teaching across Key Stage 1 and 2, as well as two years as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator. I also spent 18 months working as Lead Specialist Teacher of an autism provision within a mainstream school setting.

I am interested in the relationship between ASC and ADHD and other co-morbid conditions, as well as therapeutic interventions such as yoga, relaxation and mindfulness.

Qualifications: Bachelor of Education (Honours 2:1). Accredited course with Birmingham University; Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders
